Applying for a Library Card
The SAILS card allows full access to all library services and must be present for all library transactions.
We require that adults (18 and older) present a picture ID. A parent or guardian’s signature is necessary for young adults (ages 12-17).
Charge for replacement cards: $1.00
Children 12 and under
To get a card for any child aged 12 and under, a parent or guardian must present identification and proof of the child’s address. The parent or guardian will be required to fill out and sign a library card application. This adult is legally responsible for following the rules and regulations of the Taunton Public Library, and will be responsible for all fees and charges made against this card.
This card must be presented any time the child wishes to check out library materials or log on to an Internet computer.
