According to Mass.gov Phase 3 Guidelines for Libraries we are able to open with very limited services for patrons.

We will be open for curbside and inside pick up, only. Call us (508 821 1410) to place a hold, or place one online through the Sails website or Sails Mobile app. Monday – Friday 8 – 5. Please wear a mask. Curbside pickup is still available, Monday – Friday 9 – 3.

We will call you when your items are ready so you can elect to either pick up with our curbside service or come to the side Youth Services entrance to pick up your items at the Youth Services desk.

We are now offering pick up printing services!! E-mail attachments to send2tpl@gmail.com. Tell us when you can come in to pick up your prints (give us at least a day’s notice) and if you want to pick it up curb-side or at the youth services desk. Call 508 821 1410 and select the reference department if you have any questions.

Taunton Public Library has offering contactless curbside pick up. Orders for items can be placed by calling the Taunton Public Library (508) 821 1410, or placing a hold online through the Sails App, or the Sails website that’s linked on the TauntonLibrary.org. You may also make requests through this Google Form.

Once you receive your holds pick up notice, call us to schedule a time to get your items. Scheduled pick up times will be between 9am and 3pm, Monday through Friday.

Don’t have a library card? Afraid your card might be blocked? Call us and we will work with you to set up a card and make sure you’re able to check out items. The Taunton Public Library is excited to safely get books, DVDs and CDs into the hands of our community. Thank you for being part of our community.

The building will remain closed to the public until further notice.

We Reached Our Goal!!

We reached our goal of reading 1000 books during out 6 week summer reading program! In fact, we SURPASSED our goal with 1067 books. Thanks for a great, albeit different, summer!
