“Attracting Birds, Butterflies, Bees and Other Beneficials” is a power point presentation that describes the essential roles played by pollinators and other beneficial organisms in our ecosystem and provides guidance on meeting their needs for food, cover, and water. A variety of plants that can nourish these organisms throughout their active lifetimes are discussed, and organic methods for establishing pollinator gardens are also presented. Comments and questions are welcome throughout the program, and handouts with information about attracting beneficials are offered to participants.

Program duration: 60 or 90 minutes

Thursday, September 24 at 7:00 PM. This event is hosted by the Taunton Public Library and funded in part by a grant from the Taunton Cultural Council, a local agency, and by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
