Program Registration Policies
Some programs available in the Youth Services require advanced registration. Due to the demand for children’s programs, the library has created the following policies in order to ensure the registration process is transparent and fair to all library patrons:
- Registration will begin at 9:00 AM on the day specified on the program’s flier or on the library’s website. Registration will NOT begin any earlier than the specified date.
- If there is an age requirement for a library program, only children who meet the specified age requirement will be registered for that program.
- Parents/caregivers may register their children for programs in person or over the telephone. No email registrations will be accepted.
- Registration is done on a “first come, first serve” basis. If all slots have been filled, childrens’ names will be added to a waitlist. Should a slot open up, the library staff will call the names on the list in order.
- Parents/caregivers may only register their own children for library programs. Parents/caregivers may NOT register friends or other family members for programs.
- If your child is unable to attend a program, please call the library to cancel so that the spot may be filled as soon as possible.
- If a parent or caregiver brings more than 4 children to a program, another adult must accompany them to provide additional supervision.

1. Passes should be reserved through our online reservation system. However, if you need assistance, the Front Desk can make the reservation for you either in person or on the phone. The patron is responsible for reviewing their confirmation email to ensure accuracy.
2. Due to the high demand for a limited number of museum passes, and in an effort to give all patrons an equitable chance at these free and reduced admissions prices, we ask that all patrons limit their reservations to twice a month at any one museum.
3. Only one museum pass per day per family can be reserved.

6. Please return the pass to the Front Desk. If the library is closed, put the pass inside the case and place it into the media slot of our Book Drop in the back of the building. The Book Drop is emptied once per day, at 8:00am.
7. If your plans have changed and you will not need your pass, please call the Front Desk to cancel or click the “NEED TO CANCEL?” link in your “Reservation Confirmed…” email.
