The Friends is an organization made up of community residents who help sponsor many of the "extra" events that make the Taunton Public Library special. Funds raised by the Friends through membership dues, book sales, and fund raisers help the library purchase needed items such as audiocassettes, videos, and museum passes as well as sponsor special children's progaming like those found in this slideshow.

What We Do |

From September through June the Friends organize monthly books sales and cultural programs. The links below will take you to complete schedules of these events.
Book Sales take place on the second Saturday of each month from 9 A.M. - 2 P.M.
Cultural programs and events, which are held in the Library Auditorium and are free and open to everyone, are offered on the second Thursday night of each month and begin at 7 P.M. .
